NetSuite Developer Intern (Finance Systems)

Glints uses NetSuite as its finance ERP for managing customers, invoices, credit notes, payments, billing profiles, and currency rates. Our Managed Talent Platform sends invoice, payment, and customer data to NetSuite, and the Finance team works in NetSuite every day. As a NetSuite Developer Intern, you’ll help the Finance team with the technical side of NetSuite — building saved searches and reports, writing SuiteScript code, maintaining integrations with the Managed Talent Platform, and designing safe ways for AI agents to use NetSuite data. You’ll sit in the RTS Product/Tech team and work closely with Finance stakeholders every day. Tech stack: * ERP: NetSuite (Sandbox & Production) * Scripting: SuiteScript 2.x * Integrations: RESTlets, User Event Scripts, PDF templates * CI/CD & Code: GitLab (SuiteCloud project) * AI Tools: Claude Code, Codex (used throughout the development cycle) * Data: SQL, data lake What You’ll Be Doing * Learn how the Finance team uses NetSuite — including customers, invoices, credit notes, payments, billing profiles, FX rates, and the month-end close. * Build saved searches, reports, custom fields, custom lists, and simple workflows based on Finance team requests. * Develop and maintain SuiteScript code — including invoice printout scripts, invoice-to-PDF RESTlets, create-payment RESTlets, and the FX cross-rate portlet. * Deploy changes safely through the sandbox and GitLab CI pipelines, with Finance approval before production releases. * Maintain integrations between NetSuite and the Managed Talent Platform — including customer creation, invoice and payment PDF retrieval, and reconciled payment posting. * Design and implement safe AI access to NetSuite data — using read-only roles, least-privilege permissions, and proper logging. * Use SQL and AI tools to check data consistency between NetSuite and the Managed Talent Platform, and help Finance resolve mismatches. * Own one Finance automation project — such as replacing a manual report, adding a data validation, or building an AI assistant that answers Finance questions from NetSuite data. * Handle Finance team support requests with mentor guidance — identifying root causes, applying fixes, and documenting resolutions. * Write and maintain documentation for scripts, saved searches, integrations, and AI access rules. * Deliver a final automation project presentation and handover document at the end of the internship.
