Cybersecurity Offensive Security - Security Vulnerability Management

• Vulnerability Register — Record, classify, and update findings with asset, severity, owner, status, remediation due date, and SLA. • Data Hygiene — Deduplicate findings, complete required fields, and keep asset naming consistent. • Engagement Tracking — GPO/NIST Monitor milestones, schedules, blockers, and deliverable status for each project. • Status Reporting — Prepare daily and weekly summaries of open findings, overdue items, high-priority issues, and stalled projects. • Ticket Follow-up — Chase internal tickets and status updates under mentor direction. • Evidence Check — Review metadata, re-test and evidence completeness before reports are handed over. • Documentation — Keep templates, checklists, and decision logs current. • Risk Acceptance - Follow up approval routing, if Risk Acceptance needed, documented, storage and cooporate with GRC team.
