Aircraft & Component Configuration Management

"1. Manage and maintain aircraft and component configuration baselines to ensure consistency between approved engineering designs, technical documentation, and actual product configuration. 2. Control the identification, traceability, status accounting, and verification of aircraft assemblies, components, parts, and engineering changes throughout the product lifecycle. 3. Ensure configuration consistency across engineering drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), technical specifications, manufacturing documentation, and applicable maintenance records. 4. Monitor and maintain configuration records, including part numbers, serial numbers, revisions, effectivity, interchangeability, and applicability, as applicable. 5. Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Assurance, Production, Supply Chain, and Maintenance teams to resolve configuration discrepancies and prevent unauthorized changes. 6. Maintain configuration status accounting records and generate reports on engineering changes, revision status, configuration deviations, and implementation progress. 7. Support compliance with applicable aerospace quality management requirements, customer specifications, and organizational configuration management procedures. 8.
